Worship songs are declarations of God’s character. Worship songs are verbal reminders to our mind, will and emotions to lean not on our own understanding. Worship songs are anthems in a season that we can rally around and build our faith. @ritaspringer is a song writer and worship leader whose songs have been just that for me. God’s word says in Psalm 23, “He prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies” and in Exodus 14:14 we’re remind, “The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” This song was my anthem, my battle cry and my faith declaration for a season.
